About Us
Hi. I’m Alexander Pattenden, founder of Life About Games, a venture built to bridge creativity, capital & community in the video game industry.
With nearly two decades of experience in business strategy, technology, and product development, I’ve led international expansion efforts, launched new software products, and helped close multi-million-euro deals across Europe. I’ve also built and grown a start-up from concept to investor pitches and incubation, learning first-hand what it takes to turn ideas into reality.
As my career evolved, I realised my experience could serve a greater purpose: to support the creative industries that have inspired me all my life. My passion for video games runs deep, and it was Final Fantasy VII that first showed me how a game could move people, challenge ideas, and stay with them long after the credits rolled.
Life About Games was born from that belief: that video games are one of the most powerful creative mediums of our time, capable of inspiring, educating, and connecting people in ways few others can.
